July 24, 2024, Research teams from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) visited TÜV SÜD (Thailand), a company that provides battery testing services, including control systems and electronic components for electric vehicles.
During the visit, company gained knowledge about the battery testing processes under various environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, dust, as well as the charging and discharging cycles of batteries according to international standards and the specific requirements from each manufacturer. The vehicles and components tested according to these standards comply with the regulations or laws of each country, including Thailand, which enhances consumer confidence both in the domestic and international markets.
